About me
Hailing from Casablanca, I studied and worked in Paris, and now call Chicago home. I practice (and am certified in) User Experience Design, a field that harmonizes well with my former career as an architect of buildings. I have two master’s degrees and nine years of experience in designing the ideal experience for users, solving problems and face-to-face client interaction.
My past work includes architectural and urban planning design, interior and furniture design, the renovation and reevaluation of buildings, and public participation in urban design. In architecture (and not unlike user experience design), we start by defining the problem, understanding our users, and devising possible solutions—to creating plans, sections and 3D models, just like wireframes and prototypes. The two fields are very similar and full of many parallels.
