Creating with purpose, designing with heart.

Hi, I’m Alaa!

I design with purpose—crafting strategic, human-centered experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and impactful. Currently a Lead XD/Product Designer at Slalom, I drive end-to-end design, mentor teams, and champion solutions that align user needs with business goals.

I’ve designed for industries spanning the public sector, non-profits, travel, financial services, energy, and more. My approach is rooted in both creativity and systems thinking—skills I honed not just in UX, but also in my earlier career as an architect in Paris 🥐. The design process (whether for physical or digital spaces, always requires the same core principles: understanding users, solving complex problems, and creating functional, engaging experiences.

I hold two master’s degrees, am fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and thrive in cross-functional, diverse environments, bringing a global perspective to every project.
